Award-winning, creative, documentary wedding photographer.  Whether through candid photography or creative portraits, I want to tell your story in as beautiful way as I can whilst preserving the authenticy and honesty of your wedding day.

Documentary Approach

With an observant, unobtrusive approach, I ensure memories are preserved of genuine events that happened, not false set-ups.

It's About the Moments

…and the emotions.  Laughter, tears, excitement.  You’ll receive a poignant, treasured reminder of your day, not a formal record of who attended and what they wore!

A Little Time for Portraits

We’ll avoid the cheesy grins, and the cheesy photoshopped dinosaurs.  You’ll get portraits that are natural, creative and proud to adhorn on your walls.

Kind Words

Annabelle and Luke

Wayne really did bring out the best in all of us and made every photo look 100% natural. When looking back on the photos it’s clear to see he has captured the true excitement in all of us and I look back at them with extremely fond memories.

Caroline and Gordon

The photos are brilliant! Thank you for being our photographer.  I am really impressed with how you got great shots but I don’t feel like I was being photographed all day!

Leslie and Eric

These are AMAZING! We both cried looking through them. I’m just thrilled. You are the greatest!

Annie and Hiep

Wayne is an AMAZING photographer. He was very professional, courteous and flexible to our needs with great tips and ideas to help us produce awesome photos! He’s very interactive and yet blends into the crowd to capture the candid moments of our wedding. Our pictures turned out beautifully.

One Click – Just Before

This image was caught when everyone was in the garden waiting for the ceremony to begin. I took a wander inside the house to check on the bride and came across this beautiful scene of her with her mother.

Courtney and Buck’s City Wedding

It’s Houston, Texas for Courtney and Buck’s extravagant wedding. With the groom being the owner of a lively neighbourhood bar in Houston’s downtown…

Leslie and Eric’s Elopement in London

Kudos to Leslie and Eric. Not only did they elope cross the Atlantic pond, they did it from sunny Florida to London in the middle of winter. New Years Eve in fact!

Photographer | Storyteller

I’m never sure what to write on these “about” sections as I’m yet to be convinced that couples will hire me based on my favourite food or what I’m currently binge watching, but here’s a little part of me anyway.  My wife and I got married in Las Vegas over 10 years ago because we wanted to go skiing in nearby California.  She’s a great skier whilst I’m a terrible snowboarder.  I wish we hired a photographer.  I really mean that.  We have three children.  The oldest started me off on this photographic journey and now, they all help shape it.  My photography is predominantly documentary in nature, with a sprinkling of portraiture.  Either way – candid or posed – I believe it’s that spontaneity that makes a picture.  A famous photographer called it “the decisive moment”.  For me, it’s a gesture: A knowing glance; a joke between friends; a kiss when no-ones looking.  I hope your wedding day has many moments, and I hope you’ll consider me to capture them.
